Passenger Pick-up

ASC has a 25-minute pick-up window.   This means for your bus to be on time your bus can arrive to pick you up anytime between 5-minutes before to 20-minutes after your scheduled pick-up time.

Your driver has a schedule to keep and chances are that there will already be passengers on board waiting to get to their destination so please be ready to go and be outside or waiting where you can see or hear the bus and be seen by the driver anytime during your pick-up window.

Once your bus arrives promptly come outside and get on board so the driver can move on to their next passenger pick-up or drop-off.

Once the driver arrives at your pick-up location they can only wait 5-minutes before they have to move on because they have a schedule to keep.

If you fail to get on board and haven't canceled your trip in advance the driver will have to report you as a "No Show".  (see Cancellations and No Shows for more information)

Once the bus leaves your pick-up location it will not be sent back.

If your bus is late (outside the pickup window) you should call the ASC Office at 353-5626, ext. 207 to find out if there is a problem.

Passenger Assistance

Curb-to-Curb transportation means service is provided only from the curb in front of your pick-up point to the curb in front of your destination.

Door-to-door service is also available upon request, which provides service from the door of your pick-up point to the door of your destination.

Your driver may assist  you to and from the curb when boarding or leaving the bus, but is not permitted to enter a residence or building to provide assistance.

If you require an attendant to help you, the attendant can ride for free if you notify ASC in advance.

The driver will tie down all wheelchairs and secure packages and assist with seatbelts if needed.

Passengers are limited to 4-bags/packages carried on the bus at one time per household.  For each additional bag/package brought on board you will be charged 50 cents per each additional bag/package.

Passenger Safety

All passengers and drivers must wear seat belts and children less than 4-years old or 40-lbs. must be secured in a car seat.

Car seats are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

All wheelchairs and other mobility devices must be secured.

Service may be denied to any passenger refusing to wear a seat belt or have their wheelchair secured.
