UP COMING ASC PUBLIC HEARINGS

There will be a public meeting for the Development of the Scioto County Coordinated Public and Human Services Transportation Plan on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until 12-Noon at the Scioto County Welcome Center, an accessible building, located at 342 Second Street, Portsmouth, Ohio.

This is the second public meeting designed to collect community opinion on unmet transit needs, service gaps, existing transportation coordination efforts, transportation coordination challenges, and strategies for improving mobility in Scioto County.  This meeting will also allow the community to set priorities to resolve unmet transportation needs for Scioto County.

Transportation Providers, Human Service Agencies, Community Advocates, and Concerned Citizens who recognize that coordinating transportation services is essential for older adults, individuals with disabilities, individuals and families living below the poverty level, and the general public to access employment, education, health services, and community programs are encouraged to participate in this meeting.

Planning project made possible by a grant from The Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council
